Incorporating art into my English class

Adding some artistic flair to a task can make work into something fun, and help you get things done.

Our old plaza sign was rusted through and in need of a makeover. When some youth realized that paint was involved I hardly had to sell the project to them.

An eco-bench at the local health clinic needed some restoration, until a local artist stepped up for the task when he was given the opportunity to use it as his canvas.

Art, as a tool for change =)
